Proper configuration is crucial for STB emulator to function. After installing the app, navigate to 'Settings'. The most important section is 'Profiles'. Select 'Profile 1' (or 'Add Profile' for a new one) and then enter the 'STB Configuration' tab. Here, you will input the critical details provided by your IPTV service. The two most important fields are MAC address and Portal URL. The MAC address is a unique identifier. Your provider may assign you one, or you may need to use the one generated by STBEmu (which you must then provide to your provider). The Portal URL is the web address of the IPTV server. Enter it exactly as provided, including http:// or https://. Under 'Model', you can usually leave it as 'MAG254' or select the model your provider recommends. After saving these settings, back out to the main screen. The app will typically restart or attempt to connect. If all details are correct, the portal will load, and you will see your provider's interface with categories like Live TV and VOD. This initial setup is a one-time process unless you change providers.
